 Todays new NAB product is Canon and Sorenson Squeeze 5. Quietly Sorenson announced the Squeeze 5 product line
The new line from canon is the XL-H1 Now you say that hey it is already a product and you would be right. However they have revamped it a bit and have made a couple changes for different people. There is the XL-H1s and the XL-H1a. Both camera boast a new and improved lens that will allow you to zoom and focus at the same time. Instead of 4 channels of audio they have simplified it with 2 channels of audio. The XL-H1s has the hd/sd-sdi and still has a price tag of $8995. The XL-H1a has all the same features except there is no hd/sd-sdi, this results in a price tag of under $6000.00 and should be available by the end of Q2. Sorenson has brought us the new Sorenson Squeeze 5 family. it includes Squeeze 5, Squeeze 5 Pro, Squeeze for flash and Squeeze for Flash Pro. All of them boast a much easier and user friendly interface making the clients experience much more enjoyable. they have also made it so it will process multi jobs like before except will also do multi core.
