Who Should Attend?

This class is designed for anyone looking to edit video using Final Cut Express. Understanding of the Macintosh operating system and basic computer navigation is required. The course is designed for those who prefer hands-on and interactive instruction to best explore the full functionality of Final Cut Express.

This one-day class includes logging and capturing your material, basic and advanced editing techniques, using the timeline to edit, effects editing, compositing, keyframing, media management, and outputting your project to tape, cd, or the web. After this class you will have greater knowledge of Final Cut Express' capabilities.

Final Cut Express HD Book

You'll learn how to make effective edits and adjust them precisely; create polished transitions and sophisticated composites; add audio tracks, titles, and speed and motion effects; then finish your video for export to DVD or the Web.
