Preserve with Atempo Digital Archive™
Atempo Digital Archive allows you to move content from Xsan or other production storage to near-line and deep archival storage—both disk and tape. With Atempo Digital Archive, you can maximize storage capacity, especially for later re-use.
Atempo Digital Archive offers a plug-in to Final Cut Server that allows you to archive projects or individual assets using the Final Cut Server user interface. The plug-in also allows archiving to tape, not just local disk, directly from Final Cut Server. Atempo Digital Archive also offers a drag-and-drop user interface that allows editors to archive completed projects directly from Xsan storage—and retrieve projects archived by others. In addition, Atempo Digital Archive automatically migrate files based on polices you set up specifically for your environment.
Protect with Atempo Time Navigator™
Atempo Time Navigator allows you to protect data that changes daily-from project files and render files on Xsan storage to Final Cut Server catalogs and proxies. Designed with file restore in mind, Atempo Time Navigator allows you to "time navigate" to view file versions from various points in time. With Atempo Time Navigator, your editors can be self-sufficient in restoring lost files.

Atempo products protect and preserve content from the moment it enters the workflow until decades after the finished work is archived for long-term preservation.
Ingest
Atempo Digital Archive can detect newly ingested raw footage and automatically preserve it in the archive, still still leaving the files in place for editing. The automation criteria is configurable based on policies specific to your workflow, including file location, creation date, and file name or type.
Edit
As editors work on their projects, Atempo Time Navigator can back up Xsan or workstation data such as Final Cut Pro projects and render files. With this protection, a disk crash or accidentally deleted project file won't cause editors to miss their deadlines. With Atempo Time Navigato's easy-to-use interface, they can comply restore files themselves.
Archive
Atempo Digital Archive is integrated directly into Final Cut Server's native archive feature. With the Atempo plug-in, archiving an asset or project through the Final Cut Server interface will immediately and directly archive the content to the tape or disk archive device. In addition, Atempo Digital Archive also provides editors a simple drag-and-drop interface they can use to archive files that are not under the control of asset management.
Protecting Asset Management
To protect your Final Cut Server environment, Atempo Time Navigator can back up the Final Cut Server catalog and the proxies so that simple hardware failure does not mean permanent data loss or wasted time and effort re-creating all your proxies.
High Capacity Workflows
To keep editors from being impacted by the high volume backup and archiving projects, both attempt Digital Archive and Atempo Time Navigator can be configured with addicted data movers. These data movers keep the Xsan MDC and the Cinal Cut Server out of the data paths so your users are not slowed down, even as capacities climb to hundreds of terabytes.
