Access to your company's servers

iPads integrates with your existing IT infrastructure with no additional client-side software required. It can access to standard IMAP or enterprise-level mail servers like Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007 or 2010 over a secure SSL connection from anywhere you have access to AT&T's or Verizon's 4G network or a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Easy to Configure

Configuring iPad for use in your business is easy.  You can create a configuration profile for your business that includes information about your company’s VPN, email, wireless network, and passcode policies.  This profile can be sent to each device either over the air or via USB. Users simply tap to install the profile and then start using iPad.

Connect securely to corporate mail, calendar or VPN servers

The iPad uses Exchange ActiveSync to get contacts, calendar events and push email from MS Exchange servers, while CalDAV enables access to iCal, Zimbra or Oracle Beehive calendar servers.

The included Mail application will allow you access IMAP mail servers and preview iWork, PDF, MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint files with a single tap on the screen.

Calendar makes it easy to stay on schedule by displaying day, week, month, or list views of your calendar. You can see an overview of a whole month or the details of a single day. iPad even shows multiple calendars at once, so you can manage work and family schedules at the same time.

With iPad, you can do more with your contacts than ever before. Put a photo to a name, so you can find someone at a glance. Add an email address and you can send a message with a tap. Or add birthdays, anniversaries, and important notes to any contact. You can even set a reminder that’s saved to your calendar.

The built-in VPN client is compatible with Cisco IPSec, L2TP/IPSec and PPTP protocols. This allows secure access to virtually any VPN corporate server in a completely transparent way to the user.

Secure Wi-Fi connection is possible both through WPA2 Enterprise and 802.1X encryption. IT departments can remotely erase data and pre-saved access passwords in case an iPad is lost or stolen.
